Meditation & Gong
December 2nd 7:00-8:30pm "For a mystical all-pervading Divine Presence, Oneness & Alignment"
Service Description
Join us for a beautiful journey of gentle movement to prepare the inner world to receive the benefits of open heartedness and then weave between chanting, silence and sacred gong sound vibration. This is an invitation to go into a deep rest, attune with your most natural rhythm and enjoy the space of all pervading divine presence (oneness). We will practice in the full moon energy. There is a sacred space between sound and silence where the mind dissolves and the soul speaks. In that stillness, our perspective shifts and we are invited into the vibration of love. You will be guided by Laura & Anu through a mystical journey like no other ❤️ Awaken your pranic sound current and strengthen your subtle body listening ✨ Kundalini Practice Through movement, breathwork, and sound, our practice invites you to cultivate open, loving awareness by attuning to the energetics of the heart centre. As we expand this awareness, we gently increase compassion and sensitivity, both toward ourselves and others. When the heart is open, it becomes easier to release emotional baggage and soften negative thought patterns that dim your light and keep you small. In this space of expansion, you can rest more fully in presence... feeling deeply, seeing clearly, and staying grounded in truth. Naam Simran Meditation Naam is the sound current at the origin of all creation, and Simran means remembrance. We will chant "Wah - Guru" in 2-3 rounds of chanting and silence. Our aim is to guide the body to a deep, sleep-like relaxation through the chant, and experience the silence and gong vibration to awaken our consciousness and ease mental fluctuations. Many gain visions, insights and experience deep relaxation. What to expect: We will spend 45 minutes with gentle moving meditation and breathwork followed by 45 minutes of laying down in a guided mantra meditation blending silence and gong vibration. What do bring? - please bring a yoga mat (I can provide if you need) - optional thin pillow for under your head and if you prefer your own blanket you can always bring one. - optional eye pillow if you have one I will provide a limited number of bolsters, cushions & blankets. If possible please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in and so we can start on time. Questions? laura@lauraquinn.ca
